I'm Upendra Chauhan, a Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence undergraduate at Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida. I work across the complete machine learning lifecycle — from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model development, evaluation, and deployment.

My focus areas are Python, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NLP, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). I'm passionate about building AI-powered applications and using analytical, problem-solving skills to ship scalable, data-driven solutions.

Outside of project work, I evaluate LLM systems, grind DSA on LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks, and build for Kaggle competitions.

Trained an LSTM-based next-word prediction model on 26,000+ text samples, achieving ~94% prediction accuracy. Built a complete NLP pipeline covering tokenization, vocabulary generation, sequence padding, and word embedding generation, deployed as a Streamlit app with real-time top-five suggestions and confidence scores.

AI-POWERED RAG BOOK ASSISTANT

Architected a Retrieval-Augmented Generation application using LangChain, Google Gemini, and ChromaDB for context-aware question answering over PDF documents. Implemented document ingestion, PDF parsing, text chunking, embedding generation, and semantic search, with prompt templates and an interactive Streamlit interface for real-time document querying.

Built a full-stack application to upload question papers and handwritten answer sheets, extract Q&A using Gemini Vision, and display results with live processing status. Mapped answers to questions via label normalization and semantic matching to handle out-of-order, unanswered, and unmatched cases, with bounding-box highlighting and AI grading with per-question feedback.
